Adelaide isn’t a shithole
It’s furiously arty and cultured, the fringe festival is huge and we have dozens of other art, food, wine and music festivals and such. We have pop up markets and vintage fairs, beautiful landscapes and buildings. Just because it’s not busy and we have a strip of shops and that’s basically it for a city doesn’t make it shit or boring. I understand why people don’t like Adelaide, the people or it’s not busy enough or something like that, I get it but none of that makes Adelaide as a whole, shit. I like Adelaide, it’s not great for me because I want to travel and explore and it’s a bit small for me but I love the fringe and the music scene and the markets and some of the people and the quirky street art and the food. I like that we have balls and pigs and that either end of rundle mall is completely opposite of the other. I like the old buildings and the buskers. I love this time of year when the garden of unearthly delights opens up and Adelaide becomes more quirky.
It may not have huge skyscrapers or crazy train lines an trams everywhere, it’s small, uncomplicated and sweet it’s definitely not a shit hole. Sorry for rambling

I have been to a few different countries and a lot of diff Australian states and Adelaide will always be special and amazing.
